All Bovie electrosurgical pencils feature removable stainless steel electrodes with standard 2.3 mm (3/32″) shafts. They are provided with either a standard blade or needle electrode and a rock solid 3-prong connector. To give you the exact switching mechanism you desire, they are available in three versions: button, rocker, or foot-control (single-pin connector on foot-control model). A reusable version is available (ESPR2) which can be autoclaved up to 40 times.
