Ordering Information

Please provide the following information when ordering:

  • Your Name
  • Telephone Number
  • Account Number (if known)
  • Delivery and Invoice Addresses
  • Order Number
  • Catalogue Numbers with Descriptions and Quantities required
  • Quotation Reference if applicable
  • Confirmation orders must be marked clearly to avoid duplication.

Standard Conditions of Sale

Product Descriptions Product descriptions are subject to alteration without notice and are not binding. Specifications are only intended to represent the type of goods offered. Design improvements may not be detailed within the description.
Prices Prices are subject to VAT and alteration without prior notice. We reserve the right to invoice goods at ruling prices on the date the order is received. Prices shown in our catalogue are correct at date of print.
Quotations All offers, written or verbal, are valid for 30 days, unless otherwise specified. The right is reserved to amend any accidental errors.
Minimum Order Value Our minimum order value requirement is £15.00 (excluding VAT).
Delivery and Handling UK Mainland (including IOW) -  A handling/delivery charge at the rate applicable on the date of despatch (currently £10.14 including VAT) will apply to any order below our specified goods value (currently £200 excluding VAT). Above these values, handling and delivery will be free, unless an upgraded delivery service is required. A £3.48 (including VAT) option is available for website orders with a goods value of £25.00 or under (excluding VAT).

Off Mainland (UK Only) – A handling/delivery charge at the rate applicable on the date of despatch (currently £21.60 including VAT) will apply to any consignment below a goods value of £300 (excluding VAT). Above that value no charge, unless an upgraded delivery service is required.
Delivery of Goods Delivery is normally within 5 working days following receipt of order, subject to stock availability. Upon request an upgraded service is available for a next working day delivery at extra cost, which will be advised prior to despatch.
Damaged Delivered Goods Claims must be made verbally within 2 working days from delivery and confirmed in writing. If evident upon delivery of the consignment, the Carrier’s delivery document should be endorsed accordingly. Goods and packaging should be retained for inspection.
All Other Claims Claims should be made verbally within 21 days of despatch, and confirmed in writing.
Payment of Account Credit available on application subject to approval

Policy on Returned and Replacement Goods

RETURNED GOODS - Goods are accepted back for credit at the discretion of our Purchasing Manager, but generally the following policy applies.

  • Requests for the return of goods must be made within 21 days of supply.
  • Items will not normally be accepted back for credit if:-
    • The product is not a stock line, (i.e. purchased specifically to fulfil an order), quantities involving a special production run or customised items. If the order requirements fall into any of these categories we may request signed acknowledgement before the order is processed.
  • Items will be accepted back for credit if:-
    • Goods have been supplied in error by Henleys Medical Supplies Limited or faulty, irrespective of value.
    • Goods have been ordered in error by the Customer, providing the items are stock lines, are returned in a saleable condition and not exceeding a total value of £500.00.

It is often the case that manufacturers apply additional costs or refuse to issue credit for returned goods. Regrettably, therefore, if goods have been ordered in error by the Customer, a handling charge (minimum 10%) may be deducted from the value of returned goods.

Goods should be returned to the address shown at the foot of this page together with a copy of the original Delivery Advice Note. If required, we will arrange collection but this service will be charged at cost if due to Customer error.

REPLACEMENT GOODS - We do not offer direct exchanges. Replacements are despatched immediately, subject to stock availability, and invoiced. A separate Credit Note is issued in due course for returned goods.
